Drifters Club History
Driftwood has been hosting campers since the 1950s.  Families and friends have made Driftwood their annual vacation spot for decades – a trend that inspired the Drifters Club.

  • In Red Bluff, a short 15 minutes away, you'll find fabulous antique shops, Ide Adobe State Park, Kelly Griggs Museum, shopping centers, golf courses, a movie theater, restaurants and Victorian home tours.
     

  • In Chico, 30 minutes away, is the famous Bidwell Mansion and Park. Several films have been shot in this beautiful setting, such as The Adventures of Robin Hood.
     

  • Lassen Park is another place to visit for its spectacular views and abundant  wildlife.  Or just sit on the shores of the Sacramento River right here at Driftwood and enjoy the peace and quiet.  If you're lucky, you might spot an osprey, bald eagle, river otter or beaver!
