mile away. Driftwood staff will use this time to assign canoes and
distribute life jackets and paddles.

This is a county park with a paved boat ramp and
floating dock, restrooms and parking. If you wish, we can hire drivers
for you to bring your cars back to the Driftwood Resort.
Days 2 or 3 - Canoe down river

This segment usually takes more than one day. There are places along

information about reserving spots at Reading Island, a very pretty campground
located on a river island. (Visit the
Bureau of Land Management's website
for information on this
location.)

Either camp in Red Bluff or
continue down river (12 miles) to the Driftwood RV Park & Fishing Resort

Woodson Bridge
We can pick you up from Woodson Bridge, or you
can spend the night there before continuing down to Chico or Hamilton
