Greetings to all at the Driftwood from BSA Troop 905! A
triumphant canoe trip by the scouts and scouters of T905 can now be shared
with the world. A 29 mile journey was completed on Sept.17th, 2005 from the
Driftwood on down to Irving Finch Bridge in just eight hours under perfect
skies. Every person aboard utilized every ounce of energy and every calorie
ingested that day in order to make the journey. We enjoyed complete canoeing
satisfaction and believe that this wonderful memory will stay with us for
many, many years to come. Thanks again to all of our wonderful friends at the Driftwood
RV Park and Fishing Resort
who made this trip possible!
